The long work hours, the stressful work environment and the heavy work load require that the teams within the organization function as effectively as deemed possible. Employees should be equipped with team skills that would enable them to complete projects efficiently, effectively and on time. Team skills such as quick decision making, thinking outside the box, communication, leadership and working under pressure are paramount for the success of a company. There is a need within any company for the staff to be trained in these skills.
